Comedy, Daily Life - 2009 (ONA)
Ranking: 798

A comical spin-off of the ever popular Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya television series originally aired back in 2006 involving all the major characters in more child-like forms of their animated selves going through various spoofs of previous plot line, like Nagato and the dreaded laptop with a twist of having hentai on it. face offs with the rack of costumes that were stuffed in the corner of the club room. and dodge ball tournaments on crack. Some may bemoan the fact that Kyoto Animation has yet again cashed out on the franchise with an admittedly gimmicky marketing device, but I would contest that the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan is a solid experience that deserves its place. After all, due to its narrowed focus on comedy, I found it even funnier than the original anime. - Nihon Review

Overall: If you were a fan of the original series then I would highly recommend you check this out. They are short in length so its something simple to watch and they are a perfect watch when you want to just flat out kill some time and have a nice and light anime break. In the wait for a real second season, this will surely be a great way to kill some of the anxiety. - MyAnimeList (game8910)
