Ai Enma once again returns as the Jigoku Shoujo, who uses Jigoku Tsuushin (Hell Hotline) to allow people to post their grudges on their tormentors, sending them straight to Hell. In exchange, the users of the website will end up in Hell after they die. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl with purple eyes called Kikuri appears and seems to have strange intentions towards Ai and Jigoku Tsuushins operation. (Source: ANN)

Reviews

Rare, in that it is both genuinely creepy and genuinely intelligent, few horror anime can hold a candle to this exemplar of the genre. If you didn’t like Jigoku Shoujo’s execution, but did like the idea, watch Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori. You won’t be disappointed. - Nihon Review

The only thing I can complain about is that Hajime and Tsugumi from the first season got next to no screentime at all, which is a bit sad since I liked them a lot. Apart from that, this is one of the best animes I've ever seen. Highly recommended, especially if you thought the first season had potential but was too repetitive. - MyAnimeList (Tenchio)
